Genna Howard, ACMHC
Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor
I help adolescents and adults navigate grief, OCD, anxiety, and the experiences that can leave life feeling unfamiliar or uncertain.
A Note From GennaI believe everyone has a story worth telling, including the parts that feel messy, painful, or unfinished. My goal is to create a space where you can be honest about what's difficult while discovering your own strength and finding a meaningful way forward. I believe we're all artists and architects of our own lives, and therapy can help us make sense of what we've experienced while intentionally shaping what comes next. And while there may be tears along the way, I firmly believe there's room for laughter, too.

Experience & TrainingGenna earned her Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Utah Valley University.
She has experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families navigating OCD, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, trauma, and life transitions.
Genna has specialized experience treating OCD and related concerns using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Habit Reversal Training (HRT). Her approach also draws from narrative and existential therapies, combining practical tools with deeper exploration of meaning, identity, and what matters most.
Outside of the therapy officeOutside of the therapy office, Genna enjoys listening to music, playing the piano, art, reading, and spending time in nature and with animals.
Her creative interests influence the curiosity and openness she brings into therapy. She appreciates that life, much like art, doesn't always have to make perfect sense to be meaningful.
